What connects here and p/n ?

What connects here ?
I lost the rubber cap and cannot find a part number for it. Looked at rubber parts in the Pelican catalog and did not find it.
The engine is an 85 3.2 .

Does anyone actually know what is on pin 1/2/3 ? I cannot seem to find that port on the electrical diagram ?
What type of connector I need to have to fit in there (doesn't seem to be a DIN) ?

I just went through this search a few months ago. The part is 911.606.108.00, but the cover / dust cap for it is not a stand-alone part that can be ordered without replacing the entire electrical connector. After looking at what would be involved to replace it, I couldn’t justify it. I went with a 7/16” black plastic cap from Lowe’s. Less than a buck and it looks 99% better than the three bare pins. I’d probably lose a point at a concours over it, though.

As far as I’ve learned, it’s a factory diagnostic port that is essentially never used again after the car leaves the assembly line. I’ve heard that you may be able to connect an old Sun machine to it. Given its front-and-center position in the engine bay, you’d think it would be something that would be important and frequently used, but no. It’s apparently such a vestigial appendage any that information about the port and its wiring are very scarce.

Thank you, I am using a similar plastic cap. Wanted to see if there is an original part (you know, bragging rights).

I know. I’d have done the same thing.
