How quiet and comfortable is that tire on the street? Does it harden below 60F?

I'm on my second set of Yokohama ADvan tires. They are awesome in the dry. I've done one trip south to Calif with some rain over the Siskyous with not problem. Sizes are an issue as the only one I could get was 205 X 50

I put a set of these on my SC last season and they're the best tires I've had on the car. They're spooky quiet, stick very well, and have sharper turn-in response than any other tire I've had on the car. Not sure how they do below 60F for your application but I ran them into November here in Wisconsin (where it was well below 60F) and they were fine for relatively aggressive street use.

Nobody try the S-04"s?

Hey Superman,
My car is for the weekends only. 15 inch wheels. I read all the threads and yes, some of the treads on these tires look really cool. But mine is just for weekend drives. I bought the Michelin Premier AS all around my car. A little more expensive than some posted. Couldn't be happier. Quiet ride, grips the road on every curve, no issues whatsoever.

I guess it all depends if you're a "track guy" or just enjoy the weekend drive.

Just my $.02

Sean

I would appear that the new continental extreme contact sport is a better choice than the S04 for both wet and dry performance. It’s a great value too.

The question remains about the new S007A... looks like a great summer tire.

I've run the Extreme Contact Sport on my Nissan for about 6 months now and can say i'm still a happy camper. It's pretty much a Pilot Super Sport for a fraction of the cost, with better wet performance than the PSS. I've got a lot more grip with them, and they're very comfortable when I take them through the canyons, as well as for daily driving. The one thing I did notice was that steering feedback "felt" a tiny bit delayed, but the car goes right where you want it to. Can't really ding it there. Will be buying it again next, since I Michelin doesn't have PS4S in the size that I need.

No excessive noise and I have used them in the high 30's with no issues.
