thanks, i was going to just paint the tail but a freind (who's a really good bodyman/painter) offered to respray the whole car for cheap if i get the paint,
i haven't decided if i'm going to fill in the square recess or put in some drain holes w/tubes and modify another carrera grill to fill it.

I love those tails. I've been trying to get one on the cheap from e-bay, for the last year. Did you get yours off e-bay Bell?

I think that is best looking of the whale tails. Certainly the best on a narrow body car.

came to 376 shipped from alaska. it needs some sanding done and a few spots touched up but i'm happy

Great looking tail. Take good care of the rubber lip. They are no longer made.
