'74 2.7 Clock issue
 

The clock in the car has not been keeping time - hard to tell whether it starts and stops but every time I get in the car, it is showing the wrong time even though I reset it when I exit.

So, I took it out of the car and ran it off a 12v batt and it kept perfect time for over 72 hrs. Reinstalled and same thing. Comments anyone?

Start with the power and ground. Should be real close to battery voltage. Voltage drop measurement would be next. Probably a dirty connection.
