John Walker's Window Motor Fix
Does anyone have a link/bookmark to the thread where John explains how to fix the window motor?
I think it has to do with greasing the bearing that holds the shaft. If anyone has it, kindly post it. Thanks. |

The bushing at the end of the armature shaft gets stuck on the shaft. Two screws and pull the motor housing off and you'll see it. Work it off the shaft, lube and reassemble. May have to spread the bushing retainer at the bottom of the housing.
