I had the Ruf wheels at first 17" and it did not work. You need 18" wheels to make this brake setup work

When my '86 was still stock bodywork, I ran either the Jeff Alton 17" Fuchs (now Fikse Fuchs) with 17x8 front and 17x9 rear. And I ran Mille Miglia Cup 1 reps 17x7.5 and 17x9. Now run Fikse FM10 17x9 and 17x11 with 930 bodywork. Both work perfectly with the brakes. I tried a Lindsey 17x9" weld up wheel made up with a 16x6 Fuchs center and the only interference was the face of the front caliper just barely hit the back side of the wheel spoke, fixed with a 6mm spacer. Of course the caveat will be who made the adapter hardware? I've used the Instant-g full conversion and between his hubs and caliper adapters it works just fine. Can't speak for any other adapted pieces though.

The engine was built by 911-Design, as we all know Lauren and his reputation worldwide.
