993 ROW ECU 993-618-123-11 Non-imobilizer
This listing is for a ROW Non-imobilizer 993 ECU. The ROW non-mobilizer ECU was the same part from 96-98. Part is in the original box an appears to be brand new. Porsche part number is 993-618-123-11 and Bosch part number 0 261 203 678. Retail price is $4787 while Sunset has this ECU listed for $3440 and I will let this go for $1500 shipped. This ECU is a 55 pin and myfisch is correct. Here is a great explanation of what this ECU will work for:
all 964 and '94 & '95 993 are OBD1 and use 55 pin harnesses, the DME pin assignments for 964 are different from 993 (but can be easily adapted) all RoW n/a are also OBD1 w/ 55 pin harnesses all US from '96 up are 88pin OBD2, these are all much harder to deal w/ vram was first available on '95 RS(RoW) then continued to be used on all '96 up, but again RoW versions are 55pin, only US '96 up are 88pin the US '96 pin DME doesn't have a chip that is user replaceable, hence the suggestion to avoid US '96. This does not apply to RoW n/a engines '96-98 |
