Restored Porsche Factory Deep 6 Fuchs, 6jx15 (Date Code 12/74)

Hi All,

I'm selling a beautiful set of restored factory 6jx15 Fuchs (polished finish) date coded 12/74. Sorry, no heart shape by the valve stem... But the wheels were restored in the early 2000s, have the painted Porsche crest center caps and have only been on the road for 2k miles since then. They are in amazing condition with zero curb rash or scratches. Asking $3,000 OBO

Nice wheels but you cannot called them DEEP 6 . These are Flat 6 Cheers

and those are likely polished and not chrome. if they are chrome, that will affect the value as they would need to be stripped to be refinished properly, no small task...

Please note it Still says Deep 6 in the search and on top of you ad.
Most know they are too late to be Deep 6" so no biggie
Deep 6" that ended in 1970 for the Hearts then went to No heart Deep 6" x 15 for 1971
At some point around 1972 Porsche Fuchs changed to Flat 6" x 15"
The early Flats ending in part #911361020 00 using the 3 Prong center caps and then in July 1973 the part number ended with a 10 like the ones here for sale.
These use the pop in collar type of center cap.
These 6 x 15 flats lasted all the way up for the 1977 Models.
Then Fuchs went to the black centered wheels.
Hope that helps a little of what I have learned about Fuchs.

Now one thing I have seen and do not know or have great info on is
did some 911 cars leave the factory with Fuchs that where not Anodized and had a shinny Polished look like these ?
