Freshly restored 11 blade fan and housing for '84 to '89 Carrera.

FWIW That is not a 3.2 Carrera fan as those have the Hub with the "windows" in it, not the multitude of small holes. Maybe someone else can help place that but I think the fan hub is more 80 ish SC. You note restored but it appears these have been cerakoted? This looks nice but is not restored to original if so should that matter to interested parties.

2.7RS, Thanks for your comments. The 2 parts are definitely not full gloss. I believe Shaun calls it "matte satin" finish.

MoreGAS, You are correct that it is not the factory finish, it is Tru6's "custom grey Cerakote". I don't know anyone who can restore completely back to stock. Some people want bone stock, but these are beautiful and will dress up any engine compartment. You can decide if it is prettier than stock or not.
But, I will say you might be right, and you might be wrong regarding if this fan is from an SC or Carrera. In fact, my Carrera is a very early one. VIN 000159. Probably in the first 150 production Carreras. I have a distributor that has a slot for adjustment, where the normal production Carreras don't have the slot because the distributor is not turned to adjust the timing. So, you would look at that and state it is not correct, but in fact the part number is correct for the Carrera, and not the same as the SC part number. So, they were probably using up that part of the distributor on the early Carreras even if they don't need the slot. You would say it is wrong for a Carrera, but since the part number is correct, you would be surprised that it is correct. So, maybe they were using up old fan hubs .... very interesting, and might have in fact come from the factory on my 3.2 Carrera. I didn't notice the difference until you pointed it out, thanks. It will work on Carreras, cause it worked fine on mine.
Hopefully someone will see the beauty of my fan and housing. I believe the housing is no longer available from Porsche. Take care and thanks for the insight.
