2.8 RSR Clone MFI system
Good morning everyone,
Purchased this setup for a conversion we're doing and ended up going with a larger motor and EFI so no longer have a need for it. Here are the details of the system and what is included as I received them: 2.8 RSR Clone MFI system - Built from a 2.2S MFI Fuel injection system in 2005 System in good working order when it was replaced with a Rasant injection system The pump is originally for a 2.2 "E", part # 0408 126 010 , modified for use on a high compression twin plug 2.8. The original owner states that the breather has been sealed, and there is a Supertec built fuel enrichment device installed. The data tag has "28" stamped under the part number, to denote its modification for 2.8 use. Magnesium throttle body and intake setup. The upper intakes are part # 911 110 301 0R. They are 45mm at the top opening, and 40mm at the lower, where they mate to the throttle body assemblies. The lower intakes/throttle bodies are part # 911 110 101 1R. They were honed out for the 2.8 RSR clone application, and are 40mm in and out. 6 Fuel injectors part # EP/DCC 45 R3 Additional pulleys All Throttle linkage and hardware shown is included It was noted that this setup ran very well, but, the technician who removed this pump stated that he believed there may have been a slight internal noise in the pump. No leaks, ran well. $6500 obo Thanks John

This is a great price for this complete setup. One thing to note, the MFI pump is a 2.2E pump. Part number 0408 126 010. The 2.2S is 0408 126 009. GLWS.

Agree with Mark, great price and ! and we have used 2,2 E pumps for this set up,, and it works great if you just get it correct ! the same as for RSR we use 2,4 E pump ,, but it is for racing,, more tricky to get it for street cars 100% ,, race pumps are more simple to set !
Thanks |

Greeting everyone~
Would love to find this system a new home! Also would consider partial trades, in particular looking for a set of Weber 40s. Also a VW385 differential setup tool, 930 turbo stuffs anything cool or rare Porsche related! Thanks and Merry Christmas you crazy Pelicans! John
