Porsche 911R Rear View Mirror

Porsche 911R rear view mirror in excellent original condition. These are hard to come by in this condition.

The plastic finish is in great condition considering its age. Not brittle or flaking off. No cracks.

The glass looks good with some very minor issues along the bottom edge.

The neck has some minor pitting, but this could easily be blasted and re-painted. The mirror pivots well without slop. The day/night lever function works properly.

The important mount plate is included.

I would like $400, plus shipping and any PayPal fees.

See the photos below.

Thanks,

Isn’t this a 1968 mirror? Hard to come by but not specific to 911R …in fact same as some early Mercedes if not mistaken…

The early Merc mirrors are made by the same OEM and operate, mount the same way but the arm has a slightly different shape, profile. Also, the finish of the early Merc mirror arms is slightly different. The shape of the mirror body itself is also just slightly different.

And yes,,, this mirror style was used in all of the ‘68 line up. 911 Models, 912 and of course the iconic ‘68 911R
