FS: Tea-Tray Spoiler and Decklid

I originally bought this over BAT from 1600Veloce. A very nice piece, I soon realized it wasn’t what we wanted for our ‘84 Targa. It’s been in my garage since, never installed and in the original blanket provided when I picked it up in North Salem, NY.

Here’s the original ad text, still accurate, from the BAT auction.

This rear decklid and tea-tray spoiler assembly was removed from a 1982 Porsche 911SC and acquired by the selling dealer in 2022. (I bought this in December of ‘23) The part is finished in black and constructed of a fiberglass panel attached to a steel frame. An aluminum grille is finished in black and accompanied by a black spoiler lip with an embossed Porsche logo. This tea-tray spoiler and decklid are now offered at no reserve in North Salem, New York. (It’s now in Summit, New Jersey)

The part is constructed of a fiberglass panel bonded to a steel frame. The unit is finished in black, and a 911SC badge is affixed to the decklid. Blemishes are photographed in the gallery below.

The spoiler assembly has a raised black rubber lip, an aluminum grille, and a provision for a rear wiper.

A Porsche crest is embossed on the lower center of the rubber lip, with a Porsche-script logo debossed in the fiberglass panel underneath. An engine specifications sticker affixed to the underside of the decklid is pictured below.

Here are my current pictures. You can find the original ad, their pics were better than mine, though mine are from yesterday. It’s a very nice piece in good shape. I originally paid $1550 plus the fee. I’m a motivated seller though, as we are moving from this garage shortly. $1425 obo, plus shipping, if needed.

You’ll notice the first couple of pics are from the original ad, then mine from yesterday. Mine seem to be much higher resolution and thus a little tougher to upload the bigger ones. Happy to text or email anyone a few more pictures. Let me know if you have questions.

TTT, Motivated because we are moving from the garage where this and the cars sit and I'd very much like to avoid having to move this engine lid and tail. Please let my laziness be to your advantage and make an offer on this very nice piece.

TTT. I'm not sure you realize just how fantastic this decklid and spoiler really are. If you have one, you may want this as a spare... If you don't, it's a great opportunity to create a bit of beautiful downforce.
