Those pistons sure do look "906" as opposed to 2 liter 'S'.

906

2 liter 'S'

On these engines the build # (2523) is always(?) 100 less than the serial # (902628).
Would you be so kind as to verify this please. A 3 & 8 can look alike so easily.

I have a question regarding this being a 67 S engine.

Why are the heads date 6/68??

Thanks
