New mirror pane for the right side with defrost/defog element on back side. Original pane had discoloration over center area so I removed it to discard by unsnapping it out of housing assembly and haven't snapped in the new one in case disassembly is desired for repaint. Yes, you'll need a new pair of the rubber gasket-seals that go between the base of these and the door tops to protect paintwork. Our host sells them inexpensively - see part numbers: 911.731.247.00 and 911.731.248.00

Yes, these are correct for a '78 Turbo. In fact, they are correct for all 911 models from 1976 thru '86.
