912 engine assembly-sealing third piece
In assembling the third piece on a 912, there is a paper gasket which is used between the case and the third piece. In addition, there are 4 seals...2 which go between 3rd piece and the left case side, an additional smaller seal just above the crankshaft gear and then there is a seal that seals the oil collection tube from the bottom of the crankcase to the oil pump. this is the one I am concerned with. Gasket kit comes with four .9 inch (.145 diameter) o rings. Seems inadequate. Seems small and although critical since if this tube is not sealed properly, oil pump would be sucking air. any thoughts or advice. Are these the correct seals? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1534608094.jpg
