Installing windshield before or after dash
 

I will soon be installing the windshield in my early 912.

Can I install the dashboard after the windshield or must the dash be installed before the windshield is installed?

David the windshield is usually "roped" in.
It's easier without the dash in place.
Do not forget to install the fresh air vents and clips before you put the dash in.

I think this is correct, ‘66-‘67 dash can be done with window in. ‘68 and ‘69 dash needs to be in before window. Early dash is a one piece unit and later is a two. I know I put the dash in my ‘68 before I put in the windshield.
