Replacing front rubber bushing of front control arm

Hi

I will try once more

Has any of you tried to replace the two outermost (front) rubber bushings of the front control arm without removing the control arms from the car? If the answer is yes pls explain the best way. For your info my car has the old big/heavy control arm brackets.

Regards

What year? 68 and 69 are different and I think slightly different from each other. I never tried that on my 67.

Hi
A 1966 coupe with three gauges - 4 speed.
I am working on it now - old bushings removed - treads, brackets and control arms renovated. The challenge now is to install new bushings - coming up soon.
Regards
