When you say update mirrors, do you mean other than stock mirror??
Where is Harry he has some more modern mirrors on his car, maybe he can post a pic with info. Craig |

I put on a pair of inexpensive square crome ones from Auto Zone to get me by an dlike them so much I have left them be. The cool part is that they mounted to the original holes with no mods to the car.

Quite a few years ago, I bought a '66 912 from the original owner that had factory installed Talbot mirrors. I thought they were really great looking. I've seen them advertised in various mags.

my updated mirrors? lol....
well these bad boys cost somthing around 12 bucks or so. found them advertised out of one of my dad's hot vw's mags. (i dont have the budget some guys have) i think they either called turbo look mirrors or euro style mirrors.. they arent too bad, in a way they look good, in a way they can look cheepish.. all depends how you look at them. (but again remember how much they cost). they arent too bad.. i like em. and they hold up well. the patern is just right too and they bolt right into the holes that are already there (except my dad decided to drill the holes on the passenger side to balance it out.. only thing we have done to the car thats irreversable ![]() they are ok i guess, good for their price. i replaced the original ones with black ones. the passenger side mirror cracked when installing it, and i had it like that for a few years. heres how they look in black. ![]() i replaced them this year with same style chrome ones, to match the chrome grill i got on ebay. looks better. i have to admit though.. the angle of them on this pic looks funny. you can swing and adjust them to anywhere you need em. personally, i like the look of the ones sterling and dave lovato have. i cant remember what the style is called, or if they are manual or electronic.. but i think they look good. here happens to be a pic of daves 912E (brown), and sterlings (white) 67 912, side by side at the south east meet, on top of mt mitchell. ![]()
