Heater on 912 does not have any heat coming into cab.
I'm trying to find pictures of what the piping, fappers, heater box looks like on the car. I thinking I'm missing some parts when the engine was removed. |

From the rear of the car, look towards the engine beyond the muffler. If it has the heater boxes installed, you should see two flappers that can be pushed forward by hand and they close off the heater boxes. That forces the warm air forward into the cab. If the heater boxes aren't there, you will never get heat into the car. If they are there, perhaps the cables at the front end of the heater boxes aren't connected.
Sometimes builders or owners won't install the heater boxes if they are building a hot rod engine or they live in a very warm climate. For pictures of the engine sheet metal you could look at the Stoddard catalog for either the 356 or 912 engine parts. |
