Last 1969 912 soft window targa made
Hi, I'm the owner of a 1969 912 soft window targa #129010796 and believe it to be the last (soft window targa) made. I was hoping to find some advice/help with verifying this. Tried contacting Porsche and looking at the 912 database but haven't been able to confirm through those. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks. |

You might well have the last 912 SWT , however IIRC when Porsche made the hard window standard equipment it offered the soft window version as an option. Of course, this applies to 911 cars produced for a few years after the end of 912 production. Here’s a factory options brochure for model year 1971 which shows a soft window option. (courtesy Charlie White’s great site.)

Try connecting with the 912 Registry directly; they sometimes have deeper insights than the public database.
