buy this motor guys. Its real nice

Built this very recently for a customer who has asked me to sell it for him. He paid over $8500.00 for it . Its got no reserve and will be a steal. Ends tomorrow . Im going to feel real stupid telling him It sold for much less than he paid. Someone must want this.

Guilty

I don't know about feeling stupid but I don't know how people sleep at night charging 8500.00 for a rebuilt. Just my 2 cents. It is pretty though.

That was including the cost of a perfect running core. I spent a total of $3800.00 for the motor , parts and machine work and that was wholesale. It sold for $5000.00 on ebay . Maybe you might consider a VW motor for your car if you cant hang with the big boys.

BTW I suppose $12k for the 2.4 S motor(911/53) in that picture(behind the 912 motor) is too much as well.

8,500 isnt bad, for the right rebuild, by the right person (never heard of you or your reputation, Kurt, and i wont buy a motor unless i know the builders work, but the description on your auction and its appearence looks to be the buisness). a guy i know just had his 356 c motor rebuilt for 10k. of course he had everything done to precision, and everything was machined by competion engeneering.

can you send me some info on your work? im not looking for a new motor now, but perhaps in the next few years.

I just paid $800 Canadian for a running 2.2T engine... is the S motor THAT much more valuable?
