Well, at least one or two other people are out there autox-ing their 912's while mine is sitting in the garage...

I love autocrossing my 912E. It's fun to beat up on the 911's and other Porsches. I really don't know why the car does so well but it sure is fun. I won the SCCA region with it last year in the FSP class.

I can testify to the benefit of upgraded suspension. My "E" has 21/26 t-bars, 22mm front and rear ARB's, plastic bushings, 930 tie rods, adj. spring plates, etc. It's been lowered and corner balanced and the net effect was DRAMATIC.

This winter I plan to do the LSD and some have the heads done the to limit of the SP rules and then bolt it all back together.

Is your 912 stock? I'd love to run a stock 912 in the SCCA "H" Stock class. You can lower the car with the factory adjustments, have it aligned and corner balanced, add adjustable Koni's and sticky tires and I'd bet you'd kill the other H stock cars.

What does a 912E weigh in H stock trim? I've wondered how one of these do.
