Dunkel's Update!

All,

Here's the latest on the Dunkel's event and some other events happening the same weekend. Would anyone be interested in going to the Saturday night event?

Saturday morning, January 31 kicks things off with the 20th Annual Literature, Toy/Model, Mobilia Meet at the LAX Hilton. The world’s largest show of it’s kind, treat yourself to a fascinating morning in Porsche Goodie Land. Admission $25 at 7:30, $5 after 9 AM, for Vendor info contact Wayne Callaway, 909-930-1999 (work).

That Saturday night between 6 and 10 PM, the Dunkels will host a Porsche & Pizza night at 1515 E. Katella Ave., in Anaheim, CA. Your $20 donation to the Nevus Outreach children’s charity will entitle you to a great evening of Porsches, Racing films, Pizza, Beer & Wine, the Dunkel Collection and many, many old friends. Tell your buddies about this annual overgrown bench racing session and join the fun. 100% of all donations collected go directly to the Nevus Outreach organization. There are no reservations, donate at the door.

Then the next morning, Sunday, February 1 beginning at 7 AM is the annual All Porsche Swap Meet and Car Show. Acres of parts and hundreds of Porsches. General admission and entry to all events is by contribution to the Nevus Outreach organization. There are no reservations, donate at the gate. Check out all the information for each event, with map and directions on our Web site, www.carbuffs4kids.org.

So far, I have the cars that have RSVP'd below. If you are coming to the Sunday Dunkel event, I need you to RSVP. We control the parking, but we need to know how many 912s are coming. Last year we had 46 and I see know reason that we can't top that.

The 912 Registry will debut the new 912 Gear and will have an information/hospitality tent in support of the 912 owners and their cars. We are also looking at doing some kind of food for the group at the evnet. More as we get permission to do so.

This is the first event of 2004 and if you've never been, it's one of the best events of the year. There is nothing quite like it. Please RSVP as soon as you know you will be coming. Thanks for your support and I look forward to kicking off 2004 with you in just a few weeks!
