Vent grille retainer color
Could someone tell me the original color of the vent grille retainer at the base of the windshield?
I'm sure the grille itself was black, but I don't know if the aluminum retainer (secured with four screws) should be painted or polished, and if painted, what color. Thanks in advance |

Page 23 of Dr. Brett Johnson's book The 911 & 912 Porsche discusses hood ventilation grille outer frames; apparently painted black frames appeared in 1966 and 1967, and later models had anodized black versions. |
