Porsche SUV to go with your 912?

Do you need a 4WD sports sedan to go with your 912? How about a Porsche SUV! Check out the official Porsche June 4, 1998 press release at the the 912 Registry:

Hmm, that will require a bizarre section of the catalog. I guess we will be supporting that model
when it comes out. I would think that Porsche would build an SUV that would be top-notch. Not
like that mini-van look-alike that Mercedes is passing off on the public (I hope none of our
customers own one)...

I would think that if Porsche built an SUV, it would look like and work like a HUMVEE. Built for a
purpose and for performance with no short-cuts. That has been the Porsche way with their sports
cars. I hope that the SUV is the same way. I know that Lamborghini (sp?) built an SUV in the '80s
that cost 100K, but the thing was built to climb mountains...

I am going to install a 911 combination gauge in my 68 912, it has 150# oil press and a graduated oil temp, What senders did you use and did you have to make any mod's to install them? The oil temp gauge in my 912 shows no temp but I know it should. Any input you have would be appreciated , thank you.
