Question Reinstalling Blaupunkt

I am trying to reinstall the original blaupunkt frankfurt-us am/fm/shortwave in my '67 912. The main deck goes in easy, but there's another box (sound suppression? tubes??) which I don't really know what to do with. First of all, where does it go? I can't seem to find holes that match up with the mounts. Second, there is a yellow wire coming off of it with a fuse. Does anyone know where it goes? I found the power, ground, and speaker connections, but I'm not sure about this one. Thanks,

Blake

The yellow wire is the always hot wire. That goes to the battery. The red goes to the ignition (or vice versa???) Thats so the clock doesn't reset every time you turn off the ignition. As far as the mystery box, pictures?

It can be the amplifier. In those days it was still impossible to cramp everything in one box. My Blaupunkt also has this seperate box and I installed it under the passenger footboard.
