Almost up to starting her up

Okay, figured out the carb linkage. My engine didn't come with fuel lines, and I dropped in Weber 40IDFs. Can I just go to an autoparts store and pick up some braided lines? Why is or isn't that a good idea?

Next question, does the right side of the coil bracket and the left side of the oil canister bracket share the same hole that goes through the shroud? If so, which one goes on first?

you can do braided lines...rubber lines are fine as well.

I'd have to check on the bracket...
