whats a good price for 69 912

Whats a good price for a 1969 CA 912. The engine and tranny were rebuilt about 2 years and 10,000 miles ago, still working execllent, no oil burning all new syncros so shifts fine. Paint is excellent, but not original Porsche color, a glossy clear coat blue. No major rust, all previous rust in pan has been repaired. Brand new Michelan tires and allow wheels. Interior is all redone. with original type of upholstry, new carpet, seat covers, dash, headliner, door panels, all excellent conditon. A great daily driver, but not a "restored" car. Should run, as is, for at least 4 to 5 years with normal maintainence.

I have been told numbers ranging from $6K by the purist, who think it must be repainted to an authentic color, to $12K for just a good running car that will last 4-5 years, as is.

Whats the consensous?

heres a pict

Whole lot of range on prices. Purists think low, unless its pristeen and 100% original, I suspect that a good daily driver, thats in excellent shape, but not really original is worth a bit more than the purists think. This is based on my search for a similar used 912. Whole lot of real crap for about $6k out there, some $20K stuff thats real pretty, and prob better than original, so where does that leave a really good running one thats mostly original, but wrong color, but a good color? Purists say, well its got to be repainted, even if its a great job, but the color is wrong. So its still worth $6K. I suspect that 9 to 10 is more in line, but only selling will tell.
