Push Button Start

OK I am jealous, I saw a 76 911's interior at like 3am last night when I was surfing the internet (bored out of my mind and insomnia kicked in) and I saw this push button ignition kit. The guy said he bought it off some guy in a BMW forum and rewired it but he doesnt remember where he bought it.

Anyone have any info? Seen anything? Know where to get it? Maybe it's just me but that would be freaking COOL.

My two cents,
Sean

I would imagine that you could make your own pretty easily. I had been considering this for a while because I couldn't find my keys. Just get a push button and splice it to the wire that starts the car and either use a switch to put into run position before you start it or just turn the key to the run position.

I installed a push button start but had difficulty finding a push switch that would handle the current required to activate the solenoid. I wired it so that the push button activates a high current relay installed at the starter motor.

I could have sworn that autozone has these kits hangin up somewhere. They look similar to the s2000 push button. New trick for the honda kids since the only real sports car they make has the button.
