Replica of an NLA 912 gold foil timing sticker

Here's an original foil timing sticker from a '69 912:

Here's a Photoshop drawing of the same sticker:

Here's how Photoshop drawings look when they're printed to gold foil label stock and heat laminated under a layer of plastic (this is for a 2.2L 911):

Here's how they look when installed in the engine compartment (this is for a 1980 911SC):

All done on a basic home PC using an HP LaserJet printer, pretty cool, eh?

All readily available for the 912 but nobody makes the foil timing stickers so you've got to be creative or know somebody who can help you.

engine bay decals

I got a spiffy new timing decal from Stoddard's about a year ago, as I recall it was the least expensive thing I've ever purchased from them. Repro valve clearance decals were also available at the time, but they are on gold whereas the original on my '69 is silver.

Happy motoring!
