I've never, ever seen it. I have a VDO oil pressure gauge mounted in the radio hole. It usually reads somewhere between 40 and 65lbs when running and, when hot and at idle, around 20lbs.

Bob,

Steve Alarcon (Torrance - Johnson's Alignment) has a pair of 205/55/16 BFG's for sale brand new at $50 each.

Those are a sweet deal. I may just go for it.

I did order the HTRZ 11s. 205/50/16

I am gonna keep 3 of the Potenza RE730s. 205/55/16

You never know when one of us may need a spare...

My only dilemna is whether to haul everything down to Al Reed for mounting/balancing. I did this before.

david c. 06-26-2005 11:34 AM

If you buy Steve's tires, you could drop the car off to have him align/corner balance it. He's supposed to be a magician.

Dave ,
Check your pm

COLDBASS 07-06-2005 02:22 AM

Dave,

I saw your E at Richs. Those sport seats are awesome, very similar to my Recaros...

Its 2 30 ish, not sure what the hell I am still doing awake...:(

david c. 07-06-2005 08:27 AM

Those sports seats need reupholstered! They are my favorite seat for comfort and actual driving but for my car, which I autocross, they weigh too much. I'm thinking of ditching them but then again I love them...

What did Rich have to say about the engine?

FenderGuy 07-06-2005 10:40 AM

Bob,
what about my "E" :D
check your pm

COLDBASS 07-06-2005 03:38 PM

Yes, I saw your E yesterday. They were applying the last few stripes for that "Zebra" paint scheme...:D :p :p

I dig those seats, DONT replace them. I think that they may be nicer than my SRD Recaros

I didnt speak to him too much about it other than something about the #1 and 2 side having a problem (I think...)

Rich has a hook up on the upholstery. The guy did my 944 drivers seat...sweet. He is not too far from Rich, couple years ago he was going to redo my original E seats...7 or 750 I believe it also included new padding...he does excellent work...not sure what he would charge if Rich took it in...

COLDBASS 07-07-2005 07:10 AM

Dave,

I was wondering about the lightweight engine lid???

david c. 07-07-2005 08:58 AM

I have an original aluminum "S" lid here at my place. It's going onto the car this month, once I get it back from Rich.

Dave

Let me know when you are going to pick it up. I can meet you there.

Rich the ace mechanic says my car is done! Hopefully I'll pick it up on Saturday afternoon. Anyone wanna meet for a mid-afternoon lunch?

COLDBASS 07-28-2005 12:02 PM

Dave,

You may want to confirm, I think he is closed on Sat.
However, let me know if you need a ride on Friday,
Next week may be a bit hectic, but with enough notice
I could probably give you a ride...

B

I'm going to meet someone there on Saturday; we've worked it out.
