Are you sure it is the fuel pump ? Not the electric fan upthere , left hand corner of engine bay ?

If it is the fuel pump , it could be the relay.

If I recall correctly , the fuel pump is controlled by the AFM , so if you remove the wire connector at the back side of the AFM , fuel pump should stop.Except if your relay is stuck...If it doesn't stop , then it most likely is your relay.

It could be the AFM flap , stuck slightly open , something inside there....
Like the oily mayogoo I had in mine a while ago.
When the AFM flap is shut , the fuelpump doesnt get power. If you move the flap a bit , the fuelpump is energised , via the relay.

Get the L-Jet manual from Texas site.Very very helpful in sorting out FI problems , or understanding & locating & testing the various components of L-Jet.

I presume you are still running L-Jet ????

If not , then there is a jumper/switch somewhere , that makes your fuelpump run. Or your pump is connected directly to power , so runs when ignition is on.

Try this :

www.texas912.org

go to their : "tech data archive"

and find the 912E section , from there you will find the L-Jet manual.
Worth reading , and printing out !
