Need instructions on 912e clutch adjustment??

Wanted to adjust my clutch yet havent been able to find instructions on free play, height adjustment, travel? and shift linkage adjustment, seems my shift lever always hits me in the knee in second??

There isn't a deal you can do, other than ensure the linkage under the inspection hole is in good shape, the clutch cable can be adjusted, I'm not sure what the freeplay should be but suspect it would be the same as a 915 gearbox in an SC.

The gate/throw is quite wide on these anyway, make sure the lever mechanism is loose on its mountings.

Lynn. i'm not familiar with the 912E set up, so ignore this if it is different.working under the assumption that it shares similarities with the early cars. put the car in 1st gear. loosen this bolt, and push foward a little bit. then retighten. avoid side to side movement. also, draw a reference mark with white out or something, just in case you push too far foward and it comes loose from the coupler. that way you be able to put it back on with the proper lateral orientation.
