temp guage
my car has 5 guages.the ambient temp guage is missing. The hole is 60 mm in size. The other guages are 80 mm There is a 60mm and 80mm guage. Which do I get.If I use the 60mm guage it will fit the hole but will look funny next to the other guages.

if you mean an outside air temp gauge, there were two diameters available, in either green/black or white/black faces, both fairly rare factory options. The larger fit in the far left position of the five gauges. A combined fuel and oil temp gauge then went in the second position from the left, just like the three gauge cars.
A smaller version of the outside air temp gauge was available that fit within the brushed aluminum dashboard, left of the ignition. No changes to the main gauges were necessary, whether you had a three-gauge or five-gauge. if you mean the engine temp, it should be the gauge just left of the tach. You can also plug a 911 style oil temp + pressure gauge there. The fuel gauge is in the far left position of a five-gauge without the large outside air temp gauge. As shown in this photo, a GPS helps too, but in 1966 only James Bond had one (in his DB5) ![]() ![]()
