finally got a 912
hello there,
long time member, but first time poster. i've come over from the watercooled vw camp. now i'm finally in the position to get serious about p-cars. but some used parts prices still shock me... anyway i picked up a 66 912 complete with no drivetrain. i'm thinking i'll go the type 4 route. i have a line on a 2.0 914 drivetrain. but will the 914.901 tranny fit as well? or should i grab a 901 from a 912? thanks lou |

The 914 is midengine and spins the wrong way. You'll want a 901 from a 912.

you might want to check the 912 Renegade board for all the variables, just put the keywords in the search
