To make a long story short, I have a 1966-912 which has been converted to a 70's era 2.7 engine swap. I bought it that way. Anyway when I bought it; it was not running. I now have gotten it running but it bogs down and stalls after about 10 minutes. I think I narrowed it down to an alternator/voltage regualtor or wiring problem. Bottom line is that there is no wire running to the battery box from the back compartment to charge the battery. Does anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram from the alternator to the battery? I won't know if my alternator is any good until I can make sure the connections to the battery are correct. It looks like there is a wire in place that runs from the alternator to what I believe is a master relay box but I can't tell where I need to add wires out of the box to the battery. I've looked at repair manuals and everything and can't find answers. Please help if you can. I am somewhat of a novice with these cars but I'm learning....

Regulator
D. brown wire ground DF. Black wire to DF on alternator D+. Blue wire to D+ on alternator. On alternator the Brown at D also goes to a ground B+ one red wire goes to #30 on ignition/starter switch the other red wire to #30 on the starter. |

The wire to the battery is on the starter along with the wire to the alternator (on the same stud
on the starter) Power goes from alt.>to starter -starter> to battery.
