Question 69 Seat Removal

What's the secret to removing the front seats off the rails on my 69? I tried sliding the seats forward and and then backward in hopes the would just slide off the rails but no luck.

How do they come off??

Thanks

Porsche Crest seats

Slide the seats to the most forward position, remove allen head bolts from the the slide channel. Slide seats to the most back position, remove allen bolts from the slide channel. Lift the seats out, after disconnecting the seat belts.
Happy motoring,
Chas.

Ron,

I think there are 6 bolts to each rail. The rails on the inside (close to the shifter/emergency brake) can be a pain but not to difficult. Then I think it is 4 bolts that hold the rails to the seats.
