Engine rebuild guide to 1969 912
Hi all
Im about to rebuild my engine with all it takes, and is therefore looking for a good repair guide with all tolerences on crank/cam endplay and all the other things, that can/must be adjusted. /Ole |

Your best bet is to use the Factory 912 engine Shop Manual along with the Technical Specifications book. Also there is the Orange Porsche 912 Book (which has some reprints from the factory manuals). The hardest things to find, in the rebuilt process, will be a sort for the bearings, mainly quality main bearings. |

The 5th one down is the Orange book "Porsche 912 Handbook."
The 912BBS has a list of pinned books in the Help section. The following is the Factory's little Tech Spec book for quick reference. It was for both the 912 and 911's. It was small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. \ ![]() ![]() |
