jacking up front end
o.k. so i am rebuilding my brakes all around. the back is jacked up, but i don't know where too jack up the front? i am using a small floor jack and it has run out of travel. so i want too put a little scissor jack under the front. but where is a safe place too put the jack and jack stands? i thought i would check here first, as i don't want too damage anything and make more work for myself.... =$$$$$$ oh the back is on jackstands right now.

O.k. So looked in manual, I should be able too jack up the front using the front cross beam. If I put the scissor jack in the middle, I won't damage anything correct?

You'll be okay, just remember to put a small "cushion" piece of plywood between the jack and the car to spread the load. Once up, you can get your jackstands on either side.
