I recently came across the designation 912 (ie) on a 912. I'm new to all this, but this is the first time I've run into such. pray tell..what does that mean? the car was selling for a ridiculously low figure. made me wonder...tks

The 1976 only Porsche 911 body with the 4 cylinder 2.0 VW engine. A particular bird, prices account to that...
