My next project is to cleanup my Fuchs wheels. What is the best buffer type to use on the aluminum? An electric drill seems too slow. It will have to be small. Also what buffing compound is recommended.
Will I have to clear coat the aluminum to keep the polished shine? Thanks, Ron D

Dale:
Do you use a high speed air drill or a common electric hand drill? Thanks, Ron

How bad off are your wheels? Is the anodize all gone? Scott |

Ron,
I use air so I can't vouch for a regular drill, but it has to produce better results than if done by hand. |

Scott:
My 4 wheels are in all different conditions. From one that needs little work to one that kissed a curb which removed the annodized coating on 1/4 of the rim. All of them need new paint. I will try to locate a rotary air tool for the buffing. Thanks everyone! Ron Thanks, Ron
