Dont' know if anyone has installed a windshield. Does the dash cover have to come off for installation?

Hi Dave
If I remember correctly in my 67 I have had both the dash cover in and out with the screen in and also the screen in and out with the dash in. HTH Alan.UK |

Actually both cgarr and Alan are technically correct. You don't need to remove the dash pad to remove and install the windshield, and while you can remove the dash pad without taking out the windshield, it is much easier to do with the windshield removed. Some good threads on the 911 board about windshield removal and installation.

One suggestion, use the factory OEM windshield seal to get a tight seal, especially at the corners.
