Door lock releases are usually on Ebay (there's one currently listed) or from the usual used Porsche suppliers (EASY, etc.) or the Samba.

At end of the arm rest the button is attached to the pushrod which attaches to the lock to open the door.

Dorr Pushbutton

I have a couple of those from a '68 parts car. PM (or email: wpgraham912@charter.net) your mailing address to me and I'll get one out to you via USPS.
