912 Engine Serial Numbers
Does anyone know the range of 1969 912 engine serial numbers. There are lots of books that show the range by years and type for 911 engines. I don't know of any for 912's.

Where exactly is the SN# for the 912e motor located?
On a TIV 2.0L in a 914 for instance its stamped just at the base of the oil breather tower ? |

It should be the same place as the 914. They were just left over engines from the 914 production.
