New Flywheel ... Does it need balancing

New flywheel coming soon. Do I have to have it balanced once I get it? Not a race motor, but it does like the red (RPM) zone.

Thanx
Brett

PS Kirk(green912), What machine shop do you use?

It depends on what I am getting done. Rods and some casework one shop, heads another and balancing the whole mess up yet another. The best shop for balance work mostly deals with shops but Tim At Berardelli Racing (703) 461-3436 will hook you up. The balance shop does excellent work and can balance a 912 flywheel without the crank. They also do very nice work on cranks. I always take the pistons, pins, rods, crank, flywheel and front pully to him and have everything balanced together. Makes em' Purrrrrrr
