Looking for Porsche 912 12800338 White Coupe
I am looking for one of my Old 912's. It has the matching engine to my 912 Targa in it, or did, and I have the match engine for the coupe in my Targa.
If you happen to have this Old girl, let me know and maybe we can work out a swap and we can both have the original engines - Thanks in advance ![]() |

$3500.00? You must have sold it quite a while ago.

I know it isn't a help, but 12800345 was just registered on 912vin.com. Unfortunately, your car hasn't been registered. Might try posting on 912bbs.org.

Well --the seller has been identified.. still looking for the car.. any help appreciated
The car has been somewhat located... Here is the info VIN # 12800338 was for sale on eBay in 2008. The seller was pappajack1922 (eBay-name) and the item-location was Raleigh NC USA. This was the vehicle description: Vehicle Description Offered for Sale is a 1968 Porsche 912. This car was restored as a “Tribute” car that competed in the 1968 Monte Carlo Rally. While visiting the Rennsport Reunion in Daytona several years ago, I saw a car painted very similar to the 68 Rally Car. I fell in love with the “Gulf Blue” paint and decided to do this car very similar. This is one of the most highly optioned 912’s you can find. It has the Five gauge cluster, The 5-speed 901 gearbox with dog leg first gear, factory sway bars, lightweight Fuch wheels, and headrest for the front seats. still looking!!! ![]() |

Your old car has not been registered on the 912 Registry yet, but keep in contact, we have 4,000 912s and people continue to submit new ones all the time. How do you feel about the repaint?
