Window is slipping out of regulator

The driver's side window glass slips out of the regulator. I am able to put it very snugly back into place and it works OK going up (the motor slows a bit). However when the window lowers, it gets gets stuck until it dislodges from the regulator. Any ideas on what I need to do to fix this?

I just epoxied it back in place.

Thanks Jrboulder! I was thinking I needed to buy a new lift rail seal. I'll try you idea first
