320i Caliper machining?
Ok, I have a 74 914 and they say you have to machine the 320i calipers to fit on 73 up cars. What needs to be machined to fit? We installed them on my friends 71 with no problem. What is the difference between them? What do I need to do to get these to fit mine? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Check the Tech articles - it'll give you the requirements.
Difference in struts - requires machining of inside of mounting ears to properly center caliper over rotor.

to keep it simple ( but read the tech stuff)
you need to cut .125 ( 1/8 ) inch off of the flange that mates to the strut, the easiest way is to splite the calibers then it is easy clamp and run it through the mill and do both flanges at the same time because they need to be the same
