Sparkplug recommendations for 2.4L (2.0L) T4?

It's tune-up time again and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a different (read: better) sparkplug than the usual Bosch Platinum plug that I default to every time.

Thanks! SmileWavy

This is a recent thread on the subject:

Platinum unobtainium :D

Interesting read, thanks! I have a set of Platinums in my 924S... now I'm worried that they're going to self-destruct and take out my engine! Yikes! I ended up putting NGK BR6ES plugs in my 2.0L as they were the cross-reference for the W6CC Bosch Supers that I took out.

I couldn't find the NGK's at my Flaps. Went two 3 places before I could find anything to fit. Ended up using Bosch W7CC.

Still not sure I totally agree about the Platinum.

What's the diff between the W6CC and thw W7CC. Heat range?

Yes.

Has anyone seen an English version of this Bosch diagram? Spark Plug chart.

Also, does anyone know what the zero means when it's at the end, as in W7CC0?

It's on that chart. See if you can make out the printing in those boxes and type them into a translator, like at http://babelfish.altavista.com .

NGK is a great plug for the 914 or 911. But a #6 plug is really getting into the hot range! Keep in mind with NGK the higher the number the cooler the plug.

I know but it's so small I can't make out the German.
