Engine Carrier Bar Paint or not to Paint?

OK...now that I have gone completely overboard and gone whole hog on an engine rebuild...I am starting to paint and powder coat things....

Does anyone know if the engine carrier bar was painted by the factory? I cleaned mine up, but not sure if I should paint...would look better than the rust color tho!

Also...any thoughts on using Eastwood Alumablast paint on the fan shroud or would the same effect come about after a good bead blast?
